This title introduces operations-level responders to the critical aspects of terrorism and Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) response. Focus is on threat identification and target assessment through pre-incident planning and recognizing suspicious indicators. Participants will learn to identify signs of WMD agents and understand the purpose and limitations of field detection tools. Emphasis is on applying integrated response structures, such as NIMS, and essential incident management response protocols. Stressing key priorities including life safety, scene control, and evidence preservation.
